We've had fun getting creative inside on these winter days when it's been too cold to play outside... We tried our hand at building forts -- complete with snacks, books, and Titon's flashlight. :)
We watch with great anticipation for the trash truck to visit our street! "George" and "Bear" are keeping a lookout for us at the window. :)
Titon likes to share snacks and drinks with his friends. :)
We tromps around in Daddy's house shoes!...
We have fun using our imagination with toys!
And, of course, I can count on Titon to help with the housework! Mommy takes a turn, Titon takes a turn... and then Mommy has to beg to get the vacuum back so we can finish the job. :)
At 19 months, Titon loves to climb stairs, roll, flip, and somersault! He likes to clap or tap his hands and dance to music, and he can do the hand motions to "Itsy Bitsy Spider." He thinks it's funny to pretend to yawn or sneeze and says, "Ah...ah..'choo!" Mommy and Daddy love it when he hugs our legs and holds our hands or his stuffed animals' hands when we say our bedtime prayer. He can now recognize lots of shapes, and he likes to point with his finger or take our finger and count objects in books. His favorite book this month has been the story of David and Goliath in the Jesus Storybook Bible. When Daddy reads the story, Goliath laughs with a deep voice, "Ha, ha, ha!" and Titon likes to mimic his sound! He also likes to watch VeggieTales and the Berenstain Bears, and color in coloring books with crayons or a pencil. He keeps us busy, and we're loving every moment with this treasured boy!
