We had fun celebrating Daddy's special day with a few of his favorites... apple pie and baseball! He got to go to a Royals game with friends, so we decided to surprise him with some new fan attire. :)

On the Go
Titon makes us laugh when he finds new places to play! He thought it was hilarious to crawl under the living room rug and hide! I told Danny, "That has to be scratchy to play under there." Danny just replied, "That rug is probably thinking 'What a scratchy little boy!'"

We love his appetite for books!
One afternoon, he curled up on the couch and covered up with a blanket all by himself, and then asked for a book to read! :)
He also likes to watch his kids' movies! He's pretty comfy on Mom and Dad's bed. :)
This spring, we also visited Stephanie and Jeff and cousin Walker! Steph and I got some special sister time, while Danny and Jeff took the boys to the park. We had a fun day. :)
Signs of Life
It's been fun to watch for signs of new life around us this spring! We've spotted turtles, baby birds, and all kinds of bugs to point out to Titon.
There is also a Nature Center in our neighborhood that has some great displays inside and out. Titon was a little frightened when a few parrots screeched at us, but he really liked the owls and eagles outside.
The very next day, we happened to see a baby owl right in our backyard! Evidently, it had fallen out of its nest after a storm and took a few days to recover in some trees behind our house. We were able to get pretty close, but we didn't want to scare him. We could spot the momma and daddy owls in trees close by too... they were staying close to take good care of their baby!
Visiting Grandpa and Grandma
We had a fun visit to Grandpa and Grandma Nowak's house early this spring! Titon had a blast chasing and throwing the ball on the deck. He sure loves all the attention! :)
Dad and Mom just recently planted some new trees, so Titon got to help water them the next morning. He had fun with the hose and making mud!

Can't Get Enough of the Swing!
Titon has always enjoyed swinging at the park, so when some dear friends offered us their swing set we couldn't resist! Titon thinks it's great to have his very own play equipment in the backyard, and it's nice to be able to go out for 10 min. or much longer when we have the time! He's content to swing as long as we're willing to push! He's even fallen asleep in it a few times. :)
