We can't believe our little guy is 1 1/2 years old!! His fun personality is developing more every day and he adds so much joy around here! He LOVES to run and seems to have one speed... he can go from stop to go in nothing flat! He's also learning how to turn doorknobs, so we're on the lookout constantly for where our little man is playing. :)
His fine motor skills are sharpening and we're always impressed with the new things he's learning. We're starting to work on colors and shapes... he can now identify circles, squares, and stars and match them in puzzles.
We've watched a few kids movies with Titon... he especially likes Clifford the Big Red Dog, The Fox and the Hound, and Lady and the Tramp. See a trend developing here?! :)
Titon still loves his books too! We're encouraged that he's started to point out letters he recognizes on signs or in books. We probably read an average of 15 storybooks a day... some of his favorite ones multiple times. :) At times, he'll even pick up a book to "read" on his own! Right now, his top pick is the story of Jacob in the Jesus Storybook Bible. It has a close-up picture of Jacob's face when he discovered the switcheroo his Uncle Laban pulled, and when Titon sees it he likes to shake his head and mimic the sound "Ahhhh!!" :) He can also make an elephant sound and say "moo" and "baa."
Titon is big enough now that he can eat at the tabletop with us and he likes this new move! He likes to "share" his snacks or sippy cup with us and his animal friends. He can also sign "more," "please," and "thank you!"
