Seventeen Months Old

Happy 17 Months, little man! You are just as much fun as ever, and it has been a joy to celebrate Christmas with you this year! Some of your favorite books right now are "Bunny, My Honey" and Christmas stories about Baby Jesus. You like to point out the pictures of sheep and cows! You are one of God's sweetest gifts to us and we love you.

Titon is always on the go, discovering new friends in the mirror...

... And staying busy reorganizing the kitchen cabinets!

We cannot communicate accurately just how much this kiddo loves to help us sweep, vacuum, mop, and dust... with great attention to detail! My floors have never been so clean. :)

One of Titon's personal favorite discoveries this month has been the joy of condiments, namely ketchup!! He got to eat hot dogs for the first time, and now thinks ketchup should top everything! :) It's also entertaining to watch him eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. He prefers to take the sandwich bread apart and eat the inside stuff first. With some encouragement, he'll eat the bread too... after he's had fun poking holes in it with his fingers.

Titon is still a really good sleeper, sleeping 11-12 hours every night. He's down to one afternoon nap now, so mom tries to maximize that time -- usually involving a nap of her own! We sure love you, precious boy!
