Titon is 17 lbs., 11 oz., and 27.5 in. long. This past month, he started waving "hi," but moves his hand in the same motion when he wants to be picked up or is trying hard to reach a toy. :) He loves his books and turns the pages when we read to him. He is also playing more assertively with his toys, banging them together to make noise, knocking over stacked blocks, throwing small toys, and turning bigger toys upside down and then right side up. He plays contentedly, and it's really fun to watch him be so engaged. When he catches us watching him, he smiles big and laughs. :)
He's not crawling yet, but he can spin in complete circles on his tummy... especially to reach a favorite toy or get closer to Mom and Dad. :) A few mornings, we've found him turned the opposite direction in his crib. He likes to scoot upwards when laying on his back, and his crib just isn't long enough! :)

We are feeding him actual food! This past month, we added peas, carrots, green beans, potatoes, and mangos to his diet. He's not thrilled about the veggies, but he's eating them! Bananas and sweet potatoes are still his favorites... wonder from which parent he gets his sweet tooth?!
And, speaking of "tooth"... he officially has his first!!! :)
He's been studying our mouths and lips closely lately, and we've had fun listening to his new attempts at sounding out and repeating syllables. He smacks his lips, and clacks his tongue. He just started saying "da-da" and a few days later added "m-ma." We may be too excited to judge unbiased, but we think he's beginning to call us by name!
